Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Overview

Erasio ("Erasio", "we", "us", or "our") provides online AI image editing tools at erasio.app, including tools that help users remove watermarks, backgrounds, logos, text, stamps, and other visible marks from images they have the right to edit.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written for clarity, but it is not a substitute for legal advice.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate Erasio:

  • Account information: name, email address, login provider details, account identifiers, and authentication records.
  • User content: images you upload, generated outputs, prompts, masks, processing options, metadata needed to run a task, and related task status.
  • Usage information: pages visited, tools used, feature interactions, errors, credits usage, and service performance events.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, referrer, approximate location derived from IP address, and security logs.
  • Payment information: plan, order, subscription, invoice, payment status, billing identifiers, and limited billing metadata. Full card numbers are handled by payment processors and are not stored by Erasio.
  • Support communications: messages, attachments, feedback, and other information you send when contacting us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, security cookies, preference cookies, analytics cookies, and similar storage used to operate and improve the service.

3. Why We Collect Information

We use personal data to:

  • provide, maintain, secure, and improve Erasio;
  • create and manage accounts;
  • process uploaded images and deliver generated results;
  • operate credits, plans, billing, refunds, and invoices;
  • detect abuse, fraud, automated misuse, copyright misuse, and security incidents;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • measure product performance and understand which features need improvement;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How We Process Uploaded Images

Uploaded images and generated outputs are processed only to provide the requested Erasio feature, troubleshoot service issues, enforce safety and abuse controls, and maintain service reliability.

You must only upload images that you own or have permission to edit. Erasio does not grant copyright or usage rights in uploaded content or generated results.

We do not sell uploaded images. We do not use your private uploaded images to train a public Erasio model. Some processing may be performed by trusted AI infrastructure providers, storage providers, or hosting providers solely to deliver the service.

5. Cookies and Analytics

Erasio uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions: authentication, security, session continuity, fraud prevention, and checkout flow.
  • Preferences: locale, theme, and interface settings.
  • Analytics: understanding aggregate product usage, page performance, errors, and conversion paths.
  • Payments and support: enabling checkout, customer service, and service communication where configured.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of Erasio from working.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • hosting, database, and storage providers;
  • AI processing providers that perform requested image tasks;
  • payment processors and billing platforms;
  • authentication, email, analytics, monitoring, and customer support providers;
  • professional advisors, auditors, and legal service providers;
  • authorities or third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security;
  • a successor entity if Erasio is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale.

Each service provider is expected to process information only for the purpose of supporting Erasio.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • account data is kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period after closure;
  • billing and transaction records are kept as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance;
  • uploaded images, generated outputs, and task records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service, support retries, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations;
  • security logs and analytics data may be kept for a limited period to protect and improve the service.

You may request deletion of your account or certain personal data by contacting us.

8. Your Privacy Rights

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging, abuse detection, and limited employee or contractor access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Erasio may process and store information in countries other than your own. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections or equivalent legal mechanisms.

11. Children

Erasio is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Erasio, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
